Fire in the Sky fuckin TERRIFIED me as a kid.......that and the ending of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where the guy drinks from the wrong cup and ages super fast. Nightmares for months. For some reason melting nazis didn't bother me so much. A little, but not as bad

He manages to be unsettling and sympathetic at the same time. Goosebumps by the end with the cliffhanger. I don’t know if you realized who broke into Scully’s apartment, who was at her window.

2021-04-19 07:50:03 +0000 UTCThis episode terrified me as a kid. Not in the same way as Tooms or the fluke worm man though. Those are more straight up monsters. This was terrifying for the fact that these aliens can take you and experiment on you while you're powerless to fight back. And Duane being so off the rails just added to the tension. And seriously, that tooth drilling scene😬 That reminds me, I need to see a dentist Also that fbi metallurgy expert who looked at the fragment was played by Paul McGillion.

I watched X-Files when it originally aired on TV back in the day, so it's been so long since I've seen these early seasons that I forget what happens ep to ep, can't wait to reinvigorate my memory.
