lmao the thing you find unbelievable about this show is the angle in which Kate stabbed a vampire. you're right... but ur line is definitely in an interesting place.

I'm not sure if Jeremy was pre- or post-Drusilla, but it's interesting that Angelus seemed to form meaningful and lasting bonds with his vamp-family. You'd expect him to be more cold-hearted.

Also I was laughing so hard at how much you were nitpicking the ridiculous giant dull stake. I mean you're not wrong, but it is what it is. I love how Cordelia is so dead set on defending Angel from Wesley's accusations, and in a heartbeat switches to wanting to decapitate him. Also somehow in a situation where 2 vampires are facing off and her boss asks for a stake, her mind somehow processes that as "say, while this life and death situation is going down, ya wanna go get me a nice medium-rare slab of cow". Gotta love her.

2021-03-22 04:54:59 +0000 UTCTurning into a bat, what an interesting idea. You are correct, we haven't seen a vampire do that in the Buffy 'verse. Though with magic, which we know exists, I wonder if a witch could turn a vampire into a bat. We know people can be turned into rats at least.

2021-03-21 05:38:23 +0000 UTCI forgot Jeremy Renner was in this one. I agree that bit with Kate and the great big stake was a kind of cop-out. Some parts of this episode are pretty good, but I think it could be a little stronger. Like it seems as if there's both too much going on and not enough.

I dont think putting any logic to it would work though since the whole concept is just broken? why do they need to drink blood? because their heart no longer beats? so does alcohol or even coffee do anything? So as far as the sunlight in bat form..... what makes sunlight bad in human form? is the idea their skin is so dried out that it would easily combust? Another example..... Needing to be invited in... but only if its a human dwelling? Other vampire lairs is just open door? Whos making and enforcing these rules?
