Also, I dislike Andy so much for what he does/did to Dwight, and in my first watch, I hated him. But as I've rewatched the show, I know it wouldn't be the same without him and he does have an important role. As annoying as he may be lol

2021-04-03 17:37:11 +0000 UTCI love seeing more of Dwight and Jim's relationship unfold. He really is like a brother to both Jim and Pam. To Jim, he's the annoying brother who they fight and argue and prank each other but at the end of the day, they do care about one another and Dwight's hug when he's leaving speaks of that. With Pam, he's the protective brother. The Office really is like one big family and that includes Dwight, Jim, and Pam. I also like how when Angela wanted to share her excitement and love for Dwight, she turned to Pam to do so. These episodes to me feel like the heart of the office. The first season was trying to find it's footing, and the characters etc. The dynamic of them being a family works best and that's what unfolds around this time point. The humor will always be there but more well-balanced with serious plot lines and character growth :)

2021-04-03 17:35:41 +0000 UTCone of my favorite things about the Traveling Salesmen episode is how it showcases the true nature of Jim and Dwight's relationship. the more you see them together, the more you realize they're more like brothers than enemies, especially when you view the office crew like a family rather than just coworkers.

Like Andy, Michael can be totally insufferable, but his saving grace is that he's actually a pretty solid salesman. Probably his antics also aren't so annoying for people who don't have to spend all their time around him too. I liked that they featured Stanley and Phyllis in this episode because you usually don't see them do sales calls. And how it showed that Jim and Dwight (despite often disliking each other) make a really effective team.

2021-03-16 16:28:51 +0000 UTCDwight caring for Pam while she is crying is one of my favorite Office moments; he is so sweet. Of course, even the line of “PMSing real bad” is even sweet. I love to see the pairings in the second episode because we do get to see each person with their talents (or lack of talent) in selling. You see the dream team of Dwight and Jim and how they had developed their niche way of quickly making a sale. Just as you start caring more for Dwight, he leaves!
