2021-02-04 18:19:54 +0000 UTCThere are few times where the phrase "Hans, get ze flammenwerfer" is more appropriate than in this episode. This is one of the first XF eps I ever saw and it really stuck with me. When the wave of bugs covered Scully's hand, it was kind of a bad effect, but in a way that made it scarier. If nothing else this is a very memorable episode IMO.

2021-02-04 06:48:04 +0000 UTCThat forest was very damp, you can't just burn living wood unless they really had a bunch of gasoline. They could have made a fire inside though, thou it wouldn't have helped them get out of there.

2021-02-04 06:45:34 +0000 UTCI could never understand why they just didn't set up a ring of fire around them and keep it burning through the night. During the day they walk, night sets and another fire ring is made. They are in a forest and have some gasoline, so keeping the fire going should not be an issue.
