According to people and a lot of websites that makes lists of worst episode, this is the worst btvs episode. But I disagree, I enjoy how bad the humour is you know. I will let you know when we are at the worst episode in the comments and I am curious to see your reaction and if you will agree with me.

I do like that this episode started with Xander being derided for being essentially too dumb for college, basically calling him a caveman who's only good enough to serve drinks. Makes the payoff that much better. It's not a great episode, but there are probably worse ones on Buffy if I think about it, and definitely in general(looking at you last Merlin episode).

2021-01-30 09:45:44 +0000 UTCIt is often considered one of the worst episodes of the series but I still think it's better than Go Fish, I Robot, You Jane, Teacher's Pet, and Inca Mummy Girl just off the top of my head. I do like the silliness of it, especially when Cave Buffy is in the dorm with Giles and Xander, that makes me laugh every time. Xander: What have we learned about beer? Cave Buffy: Foamy! DOn't know why but that line cracks me up every time.

2021-01-28 19:42:29 +0000 UTCI know this is widely considered the worst Buffy episode, but I think time has been a bit kinder to it. Looking at it now, it's a lot of fun. Silly, but fun. I think calling this the worst may have a lot to do with Buffy simply not having many bad episodes. My favorite part is Buffy coming through as the hero, no matter what the beer did to her. She has her instincts, to help and save people, and that never goes away. I always found that to be a really nice message underneath everything else.

2021-01-28 19:01:44 +0000 UTCThis episode was received pretty horribly the first time around, with fans immediately dubbing this the worst episode of Buffy ever. It's not my favorite by any means but I honestly got a kick out of Cave Buffy. "Buffy strong"! However its interesting how people don't particularly realize that we've seen Veruca before during the second episode of this season. It was a blink or you missed it scene but Oz and Veruca definitely "noticed" each other before.

2021-01-28 17:45:44 +0000 UTCI've voiced this on other reactor's, but this is my favorite Buffy episode. It's so funny, campy, my kinda humor. I love the comradery amongst the actors, feel like things are really in a groove this season with the witty quips. I think it was always my favorite because I was Buffy's age at the time this came out and was going through very similar guy troubles and had the reactions of fantasizing about things going my way, too.

2021-01-28 13:38:14 +0000 UTCSo this episode was part of the network’s agenda to show underage drinking in a bad light. As much as I kind of hate that message, I do still like this episode. I like that eat did have Willow standing up to Parker on behalf of Buffy. I like that it teases something between Oz and Veruca. And I love that, as you said, it sort of closes out the whole Buffy and Parker thing. I was getting a bit annoyed with seeing Buffy blame herself over Parker’s behavior. Tbh I even love the camp, slapstick humor in this one, but I know I’m in the minority on that stance 🤷🏾♀️
