At 35:33, that realization caught me off guard, lol. Good catch. Also that "bruh, chill" right at the end, I was just like "No, NO!! Not this time". That twist though, jeez. Has everything been in his head, when did he wind up in there? How are they gonna explain all the storylines in this context? o many questions.

2021-01-01 16:46:54 +0000 UTC(Warning: There are spoilers for this particular episode in this comment) Talk about an unreliable narrator! I think some fans on Reddit had figured that twist out before the episode aired but I certainly didn't see it coming! Him being in prison makes so much sense now rewatching it though. I'm excited for the rest of the series!

2020-12-30 18:08:13 +0000 UTCOh man, this episode blew my mind the first time I saw it. I had no clue about the twist, but had been wondering how he had gotten away with the crime the whole time. Such a great episode. It's so slow, but the subtle reveals were hard hitting.

2020-12-29 11:12:10 +0000 UTCCraig Robinson is fantastic in these episodes, he's known for being a good comic actor but he isn't known for much in the way of "serious" acting and his role in Mr Robot is chilling. I love these episodes because they represent Sam Esmail really starting to flex as a director - you have to remember he's actually a complete noob at this and he's clearly got a lot of art in him. The twist in this episode is like that scene in the Matrix where LF says "he's beginning to believe" and Keanu is just seeing code everywhere or something. There's clearly a sense all the way through the whole season up to this point where you know something isn't right but you can't quite put your finger on it - if you go back and watch these scenes there's visual clues literally everywhere, they stand out a mile when you know what's going on but you completely miss them when you don't - like there's bars everywhere in every scene for example.
