Pretty much got a lot of lore building in this ep, more about the Tok'ra and symbiotes, so that's good.

2020-12-21 04:47:09 +0000 UTCJust rewatched The Sixth Day with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it the other day. There are a surprisingly large number of Stargate SG1 actors in the movie, including Don Davis (Gen. Hammond). It's not a great movie, but it's not too bad either.

2020-12-18 23:51:19 +0000 UTCFurthers the story w the tokra along.
2020-12-18 21:56:57 +0000 UTCSkip the episode that introduced Tanith? People are crazy. ;)

2020-12-18 20:42:48 +0000 UTCI don't dislike it, but I get why some would

2020-12-18 18:01:36 +0000 UTCAm I the only one who actually likes this episode? I think the premise is great and I really feel for Shau'nac. The intrigue with the Tok'ra is pretty good as well, and the idea that the jaffa are able to communicate with their symbiotes.

2020-12-18 14:51:51 +0000 UTCI don't love this one, but not really a skipped one for me.

2020-12-18 11:47:56 +0000 UTCYeah, I always skip this one as well. Not my most hated and obviously very important to see it at least once, it's just sorta meh. Good news though is that there's only one or two others this season I skip depending on my mood; sometimes I'll watch em, sometimes not and sometimes I'll just skip through some parts. The rest are either quite good or great, in my opinion. So I'm really excited for that!

2020-12-18 11:24:44 +0000 UTCRemember Egeria, Queen of the Tok'ra. It'll be on a test later... 😋

2020-12-18 11:07:12 +0000 UTCYep. Definitely a skip for me as well :(

2020-12-18 09:39:19 +0000 UTCYeah I don't even remember this episode anymore. It's definitly one of those I don't enjoy that much :D

2020-12-18 09:37:49 +0000 UTCNot going to lie this one is definitely a skip episode for me. I just don't like itttttt!

2020-12-18 04:31:15 +0000 UTCYeah, Musetta Vander is quite a bit too old at this point to have played Joanna on Mr Robot. Seemed she played a lot of seductress type characters back in the late 90s and early 00s. She also played Natalie French on Buffy and Derran Tal on Star Trek Voyager. I get why you don't love this episode, but it does build the lore up a bit, and Teal'c's history specifically. Gonna be interesting to see where things go with this whole Tanith ruse. And those tok'ra man, they're so hit and miss. While Freya seems like a perfectly cool person, Anise seems like one of those tok're who never fell too far from the goa'uld tree. There have been and will continue to be tok'ra who are arrogant and manipulative, but there are also ones who seem genuinely trustworthy like Martouf/Lantash and Selmak. Can't blame O'Neill for getting pissed at em.
