The show is really starting to dig into the Arthurian legend now. I'm sure we'll see that sword again. I also appreciate that we get to see a different side of Uther. While it's clear his hatred of magic has led to a lot of suffering, we at least understand now how it started and where he's coming from. That combined with being willing to sacrifice everything for his son makes him a much more sympathetic character.

2020-11-27 19:58:39 +0000 UTCGreat episode with some beautiful tracks and scenes. I like the way they weave the legends together with telling their own version of things. In the stories Arthur gets Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake, so I assume they'll come back for it one day. (Versions vary but the sword in the stone is often a different sword altogether)
