UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Stargate SG-1 Season 3 Episode 20 and Episode 21 REACTION!

I always said that seasons 4, 5 and 6 are the golden age of Stargate SG1. The events with the Goa'uld are developing very quickly, there are many episodes involving our allies, etc. It's hard to not spoil when you know what will happen, but there are some great episodes in seasons 7 and 8 too... and season 9 brings a totally the series in a totally different scenario direction. When it happened, many early fans didn't like it, but the series attracted new viewers. And the crossover Atlantis can be seen from season 8. Very important to not look at Atlantis before season 8, otherwise you'll be spoiled and you won't understand a few things.

dude I just looked at the episode list for season 4, ITS FULL OF BANGERS bro, omg, ur gona love it, season 5 too man, this show reaaaaaaaaaaaally hits its stride soon man, I mean bangers on bangers on bangers on bangers dude, and one of the funniest episodes in SG history is in season 4

Maternal Instinct is a great lore episode and Crystal Skull has some good humor to it. The season finale hiwever is where the show finally kicks off and does not slow down. Super super excited for it.

Loving the double uploads. Been looking forward to Maternal Instinct for a while. It definitely dips into a more spiritual side of stargate, which I like for mixing things up. And the soundtrack of that episode is incredible. We got a fire bender temple, Prax from the Expanse, chief Tyrol from BSG, and Bra'Tac PI. Clearly this Oma character is incredibly powerful. I actually wonder what happened to the landed hatak. Did she kill all the jaffa, destroy the whole ship, or did they decide to haul ass out of there? It definitely moves some important parts of the lore forward, and there are some really effective emotional beats throughout. Crystal Skull isn't one of my favourites, but it's an interesting enough episode. Fun fact, Christopher Judge voiced the giant alien at the end. Teal'c also had a lot of fun moments in this episode; "then I will have succeeded in locating him", "Dr. Fraiser is usually correct in such matters", "no........yes, extremely". My favourite scene of the episode though is when Hammond is on the phone saying he won't be able to see his granddaughter's play because "a very close friend" of his is missing, and needs his help. It really tells you something about the kind of leader Hammond is. Great episodes, and the next one is going to blow you away.

In one of the SG1 novels, I believe the Giant Aliens were somehow connected to the Furling in some way. Possibly a creation of theirs, or perhaps a client race. Not sure.

Comparatively, they both also feature some very different set designs to the ones I feel we've already seen more than a few times in the show and, even though this season has been pretty consistent with the "page-turners" (episodes that really make you want to keep bingeing), these 2 consistently stand out to me.

FYI, Jotnar (plural of Jotunn) are the Frost Giants from Norse mythology, essentially one of the most common stereotypical enemies of the Vanir and Aesir people of Asgard. So they could be connected or something, considering these are some type of mist giants, and mist is elementally aligned w/ water/ice elements, in magic systems commonly. Take your pick, I assume it was intentional, but I don't recall us ever finding out for sure

A nice set of episodes that go into some of the stranger parts of the Stargate universe, including meeting two different powerful species who had abilities beyond anything we'd seen before. Whether or not we'll see either of them again I won't spoil. You'll just have to wait and see. Oh, and the finale is next. Really looking forward to seeing your reaction to that one.

The Crystal Skull is one of my favourite episodes, but I've been looking forward to Maternal Instincts as well. Not just for the plot advancement, but it's always interesting to learn more about jaffa culture. I really enjoy Bra'tac's arc in this one.
