Fun fact: Alyson Hannigan is married irl to Alexis Denisof (Wesley).

2020-12-29 19:10:09 +0000 UTC"you want us to breed?". Rofl, Willow is so gloriously awkward. But seriously she should keep practicing with the pencils. I can just see it. She gets jumped by a trio of vampires on the way home, and she's like "now hold on a second. I know what you're thinking, 'she's not the slayer, easy snack right?'. No!, Not right. Very wrong in fact, because I've got a whole package of No2 pencils with your names on em, so who's first!?!?" I love the scene where they're mourning Willow's supposed death, especially how Giles doesn't even hesitate to agree with and reinforce Xander's assertion that Willow was better than him. Also got a laugh out of Xander trying to "reload" his cross. It was about time for a Willow centric ep, and Alyson really got to flex her acting skills a lot here.I don't get releasing vamp Willow though. She's clearly going to kill people(people in another reality, but people nonetheless), but I guess it worked out. I thought the way they just brought Faith in on the rehab thing was kinda out of the blue. For a second I was trying to remember if this was a dream episode or something, then it transitions and the mayor has basically adopted her. On both counts I feel like there's an episode of development missing, but a season of Buffy is only what, 20 or 22 eps, so I guess it was done that way to save time. Great episode, they had a lot of fun with the concept clearly.

2020-11-18 21:02:13 +0000 UTCI only started following his Buffy reactions in S2. Have there been a lot of spoilers or something?

2020-11-18 12:33:18 +0000 UTCIn general this is a good point to avoid comments both here and on YouTube because this fandom is entitled af (spoken as a member of this fandom since 1997)

2020-11-18 11:27:07 +0000 UTCThis is probably a good point in the series to tell you, avoid the previously on segments. They can spoil things. If you hadn't seen the previously on for this one, bringing back Anya and Vamp Willow would have been a complete surprise, and there were things you knew were coming, that you would not have known if you hadn't seen the PO. There are two episodes I can think of where you will WANT to see the previously on, but fans will let you know when they are coming ahead of time. In those instances, they do something different or interesting with the previously on that will enrich the experience, but those are rare. The same goes for Angel when/if you watch his show, which you will want to start at the same time you start season 4 of Buffy. For his show, avoid the POs like the plague, because huge spoilers. Glad you liked this one.
