(there's a reason the person above you didn't actually say the name of the spinoff)

2020-12-10 23:40:45 +0000 UTCI feel like... sometimes you have to be careful with people, and while Buffy may be priveleged, if I saw someone kill a person (then dump the body and pretend it didn't happen) I'd be a bit concerned to. I think anyone would. She can't read minds. She's scared of what Faith is capable of. It's not a breakup, it's a dead human. Buffy can't just... pretend it's OK like Faith, and she shouldn't have to.

2020-11-09 02:02:55 +0000 UTCI feel like if Buffy had been a little less judgy, she would've eventually seen that Faith was just as affected. She expects her to deal with her emotions in the same way as her, ignoring the fact that Faith has never had the support system (emotional and otherwise) that she has.

2020-11-06 16:37:54 +0000 UTCI feel like the mayor is the closest representation of a real life politician — cheery and smiles for the camera with the Boy Scouts, then sacrifices people in dark rituals on the side.

2020-11-05 13:35:03 +0000 UTCAnd this is why the Mayor is tied with a character who hasn't shown up yet as my favourite villains in the show. I especially love how he seamlessly switches from happy and giddy middle-aged dad to evil satanist ruling over Sunnydale's vampires in order to do some kind of dark ritual. He's like, sacrifice babies to a giant demon, sure why not? But using swear words or forget to wash your hands, how dare you?!

2020-11-05 10:37:39 +0000 UTCbeen waiting for this one for a while. They've been building to Faith's fall all season with her getting more and more distanced from the group. Still it's shocking to hear her say she doesn't care about killing a man. Also great to see things finally moving forward with the mayor. I love how that character mixes diabolical and wholesome so seamlessly. His "to do" list is hilarious. Wesley is kind of an idiot, and a snob, but I'll grant that he doesn't come across as a total bastard like many of the watcher's council. Beyond the arrogance and overconfidence, I do think he wants to help the slayers. I lost it at "pull his kneecaps off". Balthazar was pretty entertaining.

2020-11-05 04:43:53 +0000 UTCI've been waiting for this episode all season :o Can't wait to watch it and see your reaction to the end.

2020-11-05 04:12:42 +0000 UTCThe sad thing is that I think Allen, the man Faith killed, was becoming more and more scared and shaken by the mayor as the episode went on. I think he was coming to Buffy for help, or to tell her what the mayor was planning. I think he was switching sides, and Faith killed him. The mayor is wonderful. I love him. LOL
