It doesn't bother me as much as it does some others because I think it speaks to the frustration that Mulder experiences as he tries to uncover the truth. He's searching for the same answers we are.

It'd be unique and we've heard the spiel a million times before from numerous creators, so it's just background noise at this point. I always figured if I had a channel I pull the old self deprecating, reverse psychology deal and tell people to dislike the vid, unsubscribe and leave a disparaging comment. Might be a bad idea, but it wouldn't be my first. The kid who plays Kevin is likely not anybody you know. He's a bit on the old side for the maze runner movies and hasn't acted since 2005 in any case. Still in his adult photo in IMDB he does look a bit like the lead from those movies. And yeah, better get used to finishing an episode and not getting answers on this show. Sometimes they wrap up a story nice and neat, but rarely. Also just realized we haven't had a Dooski sighting since you set up the new studio. No comfy places to sleep I guess.

2020-10-08 12:29:13 +0000 UTCI was surprised by how good this episode was because I'd completely forgotten about it. The scene at the end with Mulder got me, and the one with the mom. Like Mulder she's been ridiculed all her life, you can understand that she doesn't want that for her daughter.

2020-10-08 05:28:10 +0000 UTCI’m not sure how to put it without seeming spoilery, because it’s really not, but it’s good that you are comfortable with ambiguity for this show. Lol. Also, 90s message boards for this show are where the concept and term of shipping a couple was born. People were either shippers or noromos (no romance). So Mulder and Scully are literally the original ship. Just a fun fact. We’ll see where you come down as things progress.
