I just realized that with you starting Farscape now, which started in 99, you're actually fairly well synched up with the other 90's shows you're doing. I think the SG1 eps you're doing now aired 4 or so months after Farscape started in March 99, and the Buffy eps you're watching now were right around the end of 98. So the eps you're watching of all 3 shows all aired roughly within 8 months of each other. So you're really getting that late 90s scifi/fantasy experience. They actually covered a lot of ground in this ep in not only developing the sebaceans and their vulnerability to heat, but also quite a bit of development for pretty much all the cast, all while working in this story with the bugs. Very densely packed writing in this one.

2020-10-05 22:01:34 +0000 UTCThis is another good episode to really introduce us to the crew, like the last one. I like it instead of just getting to the main plot, it allows universe/world building. We get to get closer with each one. So another thing we learned is that the Peacekeepers are called Sebaceans, their species name like we are Humans. And they lack a gland that regulates temperature, so in a way, Humans can take varied temperatures better, like heat. I also like the idea we get to explore Moya more, and you get to see how big she is.
