When you think about it though, it makes sense that he would know all about SG1. He works for the goa'uld, and they've been a royal pain in their backsides. They(well O'Neill and Daniel) killed Ra, they brought about the defeat of Apophis, and they killed Hathor and Seth(though most likely the goa'uld have no clue about that one). And zat'nik'tel isn't so hard to say, but try saying "takunitagaminituron" 3 times fast.

2020-10-01 11:22:20 +0000 UTCDead Man Switch can basically mean ANYTHING that's triggered by the death of the person (or sometimes even a thing/object, but for some reason they don't actually change the term tho), so it could be anything from blackmail leak, to nuke at a planet's core going off, wiping the entire planet if you kill the baddie, for example. There's plenty of other shit as well, that it could apply to, besides lethal/political stuff.
