of the 3 "introduction" episodes, I like the 3rd the best. It delivers exposition about the Avatar, explains Zuko's motivation for wanting to capture Aang, his struggles and character. And most of all: it shows Uncle Iroh is not just a comic relief character. He is welcomed as a "great hero", still called "general" even when retired, and takes down commander Zhao with a single hand.

2020-09-26 22:36:40 +0000 UTCI really like how the show is humorous but doesn't shy away from heavier emotional scenes. The fight scenes are absolutely stellar and full of little details , like Aang extinguishing Zuko's arm in their fight in the cabin.

It does a great job of world building and character development, and the fight scenes are really well done too (I think it's why I loved your Full Metal reactions so much, because it reminded me of Avatar)
