Faily's fans were protective of not spoiling Walter's name before it was mentioned in-show... you better believe they've been even more so of the spinoffs. You're not the first to have been chastised for posting... the others, though, were understanding enough to quickly edit their comments and remove the mention.

Amadeus Phoenix It was somewhere in the beginning of season 1, he talked about the Stargate movie and later mentioned the sequels. I don't have a link, sorry. I just remember he mentioned Atlanis and I thought "it will be awhile for that".

Scarlett Monrow

Scarlett Monrow, do you have a link to him talking about them? I have no memory of it and I can't find it. Plus I wouldn't have been trying to keep him from seeing it from the very beginning if he'd said it himself...

Amadeus Phoenix

ATM machine!

Lady Beyond The Wall

Can't wait for the next one !

Quentin Hersent

fair enough

Timothy Nikiforovs

Omar- we're a quarter of the way in and he just now started doubling up. If he maintains this pace he'll be there by this time next year.

Stef Furness

This one is a top tier episode for me. I've always liked to believe that Jack had a fair idea that by showing Merrin how to be a child, that it could very likely affect their society on a larger scale. Adding to the theme that he is a hell of lot smarter than he makes out. It's interesting that Carter's line is that Merrin would have known. The larger focus of his characters involvement in this story would be highlighting his loss. The manner in which he lost Charlie and how he is outraged at how the Orbanians treated some of their children. This one makes me a little emotional.

Daryl

Well, after they get more naquada, she said they ran out of what they had testing the device.

Brent Justice

big JUMP technologically for earth: naquada reactor, now we can power all kinds of nifty scifi stuff with it

Ricardo Pomalaza

Haha, just when you asked for earth to get a buff we're introduced to the naquadah generator. I do like these episodes where they run into moral conflicts with possible allies. This episode raises some tough questions.

Teth

I'd be happy we're getting two episodes a week. We're progressing pretty quickly and he has a lot of other shows he's reacting to.

Teth

He won't get to Atlantis for years

Ba'alWhale34

The beauty of the internet is that you don't have to wait, love. Go watch them! And be happy where we are with Faily, which is episode 50! First major milestone and a quarter of the way through the series! I think he's going to be smitten with this next one, judging from some past episodes.

Stef Furness

Stef Furness I know, I'm being greedy. It's just so many good episodes to come, hard to wait!

Scarlett Monrow

When he started reaction to SG-1, he mentioned the spin offs, by name and chronologically, so it's not a spoiler. But thanks for keeping him spoiler free, we all want that!

Scarlett Monrow

He just put out 2 episodes every day this past week, and he works solo. I had the same feeling when I joined his whales so I binged what I couldn't wait for on my own time...I think it's still available on Prime last I checked. He's not going to binge it for us, he's reacting to too many binge-worthy shows to do that. And he can't follow our conversations here if there are spoilers.

Stef Furness

I'm a big fan of this episode, especially how much the dad in O'Neill comes out. It's also a really interesting moral dilemma. And yes the whole thing with the mosaic on the floor went nowhere. It's almost like that started out as the A story, while the nanites was going to be the B story, but halfway through they switched gears and made that the whole episode and a few leftover scenes got into the final cut with no resolution. I never thought the orbanians were evil or anything. Just a little impersonal with their kids post avarium(sp). I also find it a bit hard to believe they've forgotten how to learn given it was only 48 years ago I think they said that the nanites were invented. At any rate it's an interesting case of another culture having a very different point of view and morality. Nothing about them ever seemed cruel or malicious, but obviously what happens with their kids would be a big problem for us. At least the ending leaves us with some hope that those kids actually have a future. They basically have to start over at 12, but they still have most of their lives ahead of them. Finally getting naquadah reactor tech is a big step for Earth. Finally they have a homebuilt futuristic technology out of the SG program.

Timothy Nikiforovs

like when people say "RIP in peace"

Timothy Nikiforovs

might wanna edit out the name of the spinoff. pretty big spoiler

Timothy Nikiforovs

Great reaction, not the best episode. Had a chuckle when you said "DHD Device" - which means "Dial Home Device Device" hahaha

DANIEL JAMES

Not to be ungrateful, but any chance of getting more episodes faster? I can't wait for SG Atlantis and it's seasons away! Oh, and the next episode is amazing! Season 3 is one of the best.

Scarlett Monrow

Sorry Monday night football i got startgate to watch again with a guy in the corner

Ba'alWhale34

Failey, I thought the back of your chair looked like Darth Vader's helmet.

Tumbili

They were only concerned because the SGC's only previous experience with nanotechnology was from the Goa'uld. As Maron explained, their nanites were completely developed by their own people for use. I thought it was kind of ironic that during the intro you said Earth needed to step up its game technologically, and this episode was actually a MAJOR step in that direction. Thanks to the Orbanians, Earth now has Naquada Reactor technology. They still have to develop it further, but now they have the means to work with other advanced tech that needs the power to work.
