Just a note to say I continue to appreciate your discussion about the depth of these episodes. A lot of reactors get caught up in the flashy or funny aspects alone and from the beginning, you've seemed to grasp the entire story.

2020-10-11 03:42:19 +0000 UTCthis whole situation with Post didn't do much to help with Faith's trust issues. That combined with excluded from the scooby gang's little meeting only seemed to push her further outside the group. Pretty sad that she feels like nobody can be trusted.

2020-09-17 01:27:00 +0000 UTCI get what you're saying about Buffy and the way she reacted after being talked to by Giles but I also feel its worth noting their relationship and her age. Giles is a father figure to Buffy and she is still at that awkward stage where she's a teenager in love and essentially being told off by her "dad" about who she is in a relationship with. I think when you factor that in to it the scenes make sense. Buffy doesn't want to let Giles down hence why she thinks killing a demon will make him happy but she's also in love for the first time and is blindsided by that

Loved that he realised the conversation was getting too much for Buffy so ended it - but then in private calmly let his feelings known, then sat with his back to her - like seriously, the thought of disappointing Giles would devastate me, lol
