FYI ;The princess in this episode will be back in a future episode as some one else. They re-use many of their guest actors in this series for other roles. And as a side note, The weapons of the guards (slingshot looking things) were also used in the last episode the spirits and the Cor-ai.

2020-08-05 04:10:30 +0000 UTCWe are finally at the point where I feel the series starts becoming SG-1 rather than "let's do another sci-fi trope as the basis for this episode." Not that they were all bad but they have been done before. SG-1 has a lot of interesting lore to build on and become something unique.

I really love that we saw the facility where they study all the alien technologie, like the death gliders. Up till now it always felt more like they never brought back anything. Always getting back empty handed, but in reality they bring back quite a bit.

I think they've built these behind-the-scenes conflicts on earth up well by introducing characters like Mayborne, Samuels, and Kinsey before who have such conflicting opinions about the Stargate program. It's a great contrast to the off-world episodes to have some drama on earth as well. Can't wait for next week!

2020-08-02 03:51:14 +0000 UTCCarter "Uhh, colonel. (taps gate) This gate is a filming prop" You made some interesting observations and theories in this one. We'll have to see if those pan out or not. We're really starting to see more of the cancer on Earth now. I would bet it was these guys that killed the reporter and did just about any other shady thing that's happened earthside on the show thus far. Clearly they don't play by the rules. The next 2 are both fan favourites so looking forward to those. Also I love the ha'tak model. I actually ordered an SG prop for your studio, but I'm gonna have to hang onto it for probably about a year or so. It's related to the spinoff so it would be (slightly) spoilery to send it now. I'll ship it out when you start that show.
