I have lucid dreams which means I know I’m dreaming and I can control them and make myself wake up if I want. It doesn’t work when I have a fever though and that’s when my shark phobia really kicks in. I’ll be walking past a puddle in my dream and just know that oh shit here we go again, I’d fall in and boom I’m in the ocean. Any sighting of water and it’s on.

2020-03-08 13:28:32 +0000 UTCUsed to have recurring nightmare when younger. A store escalator led to an old house with elderly couple sat by fireplace and every for and hallway led back to them until eventually I'd be back in the store. Bet I have it tonight now. 😂

2020-03-07 06:35:56 +0000 UTCI haven't had nightmares in years, but the worst ones were snakes everywhere, which is typical with my phobia. Also being in a dark room and the lights and flashlights not working and just dimming and turning off. Luckily it's not a thing anymore. I solved the snake thing by climbing on peoples shoulders in the dreams, and once that started those nightmares stopped. The other I took control of by thinking about lighting candles. Somehow I could control my dreams in some things. Which is weird I know.
