Super's manga started after the anime did, and more or less tells the story of the arcs differently than the anime (or in the case of RoF, doesn't tell them at all), with the only similarity being the arcs themselves. Also, my god, I remember the absolute meltdown people had over the "donuts" line, it was ridiculous.
