gonna be honest, rewatching this arc and seeing all these things happening to Cindry and Nami is making me way more uncomfortable than it used to when I was still a naive innocent little child :')

So Cindry´s hate for plates comes from the previous owner of her shadow and has nothing to do with the original Victoria Cindry. Just like Ryuma´s personality and fighting style were mostly Brook´s and not his own.
