Ngl Leorio's punch is one of my favourite scene from all of HxH. Leorio is one of the best character of the series too bad we don't see him as often...

2022-12-27 11:38:30 +0000 UTCI'll post this because it doesn't spoil anything in the anime - but as cool as the punch was, Ging let himself be hit, due to the way his own nen works. I won't go into anymore detail than that in case they do animate the ongoing Dark Continent ark (that also explains what Nanika actually is, and provides enough context to clarify her relationship with the Zoldyk family). It sucks that things ended here in the anime, with the health issues faced by Togashi delaying the manga release for years. Personally, if I were an authority at a place like Netflix or Amazon (though I'm now blacklisted from Amazon after leaving my engineering role), I'd offer to take over animating the series from the current point, and give Togashi complete creative control - hand him a big (near unlimited) budget and allow him to tell his story directly through animated media so he can at least share his story with us despite his condition. I'm not sure he'd go for it, maybe he really sees manga as the only medium he wishes to use, but it's worth a try.
