Everyone in this story has committed atrocities. Compared to what Armin has done (literally nuke thousands of innocent people), who is by far one of the purest hearted characters, Gabi is a saint. Gabi also is clearly repenting and trying to redeem her actions, realizing she is/was just a brainwashed child soldier, and neither side of the war is correct. I'm fully team Gabi at this point. She's a good hearted person who was trained and brainwashed to remove any ounce of sympathy/empathy, and is finally seeing the truth of that and gaining those qualities back again.
