Im glad these episodes good or bad are all about character development, even when they are bad they are at least watchable and try to make some sense unlike 90% of Naruto filler was, i think they learned their lesson from fans complaining about the filler lol

Laughable. Im pretty sure the scriptwriter is capable of something better than this but because they need to turn it down to younger audience, this is all we get nowadays. Was hoping at least the motivation to cut down the dude would be deeper. Like, it's her duty as same disciple and friend to put him down as someone who strays the path of the sword. Final nail of it really had to be the 'regret on death's door' trope.

Didn't much care for this ep the whole time I was joking with myself saying "all right dude quit playing around Hurry up and kill this literal child" they didn't try to make this situation and her winning believable in the slightest

Also she is just a cool character with alot of potential

Boruto alot of times is pretty hit or miss with its episodes but I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed this one alot. I prefer it when it gets more gritty like how og Naruto used to be. This episode had less of "friendship OP" vibe than normal and a nice twist on the mentor figure. I figured it was just going to be her mentor died while being a hero or something like normal so it was nice to see the unexpected twist of him being the villain.

Dope OP, dope ENDING & a dope episode! Tsubaki is easily one of my favorite new generation characters. I’m glad we’ve been able to learn about about her past and more about the Samuari and how they go about things like promotions and how they handle outcasts. The past catching up with characters in this series and them learning to over one it is one of my favorite tropes. Also, starting next episode is the start of a new arc, not sure how short or long it is tho.

The visual with the bamboo was meant to show that the cut was so seamless that if you stack it back up you can't tell it was cut. Also I love that after we finished with the manga canon which showed just about nothing of the other characters we get to see some arcs for them and their development, we quite literally haven't seen Boruto since the Kawaki arc after the exams lol
