Cannot wait for what we will see of Boruto in 2022. ***A heads up tho, episode leaks say ep 231 and 232 will be stand alones while ep 233 might be the start of another mini-arc...

Also, side note, I think there might have been a mistranslation about Kawaki going on missions WITH Naruto, as opposed to receiving missions from him. We will see though!

2022-01-04 16:35:46 +0000 UTCThis was a way more important episode than people realize, aside from the massive Kawaki development we saw him face both sides of the coin of being a shinobi (Following orders and discarding emotions vs Fighting to protect or for something you believe in) Aside from this the last conversation he had with Naruto can be drawn back to what happened at the beginning of episode 1 and how he went from wanting to become a shinobi in here to saying that "the age of shinobi is over"
