Samurai vs. Science | Boruto UNCUT Timer Reaction Episode 226

This was my favourite fight of the chunin exams, the episode was so well done with a mix of everything: Backstory from the characters, good fighting and an actual unpredictable fight because we didn't even know how samurai or scientific ninja tools work in fights. All fights in the arc were really good (except for wasabi vs iwabe) but this was the most interesting one.

I do kinda wish she won though. I've just never been a fan of the scientific ninja tools and I was hoping to see a samurai actually rise pretty high I'm the ninja ranks

The only thing I didn't really like about this arc was that the winners were kind of obvious to a certain extent. Going in I thought it was pretty clear that every team was going to get 1 chunin which eliminated Inojjn and ChoChos chances and then as soon as Wasabi won it was clear Denki would win.

Yeah that whole B plot with Boruto and Mitsuki was resolved very fast and just quite underwalming if you ask me, do wish so bad we could've seen those two fight but of well what are you gonna do about it. Denki's fight was just amazing and a really good way to wrap the exams up so I will not complain, overall it was a really good arc

I think this arc really did benefit from Boruto and Mitsuki being taken out of the picture. The goal of the arc was to showcase OTHER squads than Team 7 and wanted to have each team end up with a Chunin captain. We all know Boruto and Mitsuki would wash each of the other participants at this point, and I thought the ambiguous ending makes alot of sense, because I'd say its 50/50 shot of either one winning each time they fight.

Really enjoyed this arc, as you said it really showed the progress throughout the past 200 eps

for me Tsubaki deserved it more than Izuno tbh.. Izuno just got it for ''free'' in my opinion.

That last OST near the end of the episode(with the lyrics) is the same one as when Team 7 made the combined Compression Rasengan against Deepa's carbon armor form. Also the animators were def purposefully teasing us 😩 with Boruto vs. Mitsuki especially when Boruto says "time to see who's stronger."

I don't know if it's been pointed out already but denki's symbol looks a lot like a pc mouse

This fight was so fun to me. I’ve always enjoyed Tsubaki since she came into the show and how her overall presence and style was different from everyone else but I feel like Denki deserved this. He was literally the one of the first character we met in this series, and since he’s not as skilled in ninjutsu seeing him pull out a W really made me happy. It’s dope watching and seeing how far so many of them have come, it’s what makes it different when we saw the OG group since we weren’t always with them
