Yeah, I did the same. Plus, I should have been a patreon for a long time I truly like Jack a hell of a lot and have been a patron for people that I like even less, but make good content.

Just wait until the dub version airs in April for those of us that grew up with the dub and are closer to those voice actors than the Japanese. That will be even harder to watch,

I don't know anyone who has seen this episode and not had a similar breakdown. Especially for those of us who've been following this narrative for almost two decades now, there's such an emotional investment in these core characters. Kurama, in particular, you see this amazing redemption arc for him and understand how long he lived in pain, only to finally find a friend in Naruto -- it gives so much weight to his sacrifice.

I cried along with you. For me, it was the credits where I completely lost it. And then when Boruto was sobbing in his arms when he woke up, cause Boruto NEVER cries, unlike young Naruto.

The kurama scream the naruto growing up montage and then naruto reaching out and boruto grabs him man I could cry forever

Man, even after watching this episode 10+ times, I still get emotional over Kurama's death. Normally I think the anime could do a better job adapting the manga, but with these last few episodes, the anime went above and beyond and gave Kurama a proper send off the manga didn't.

Now you know the reason why back in October Boruto stayed on trending for like 2 days straight, it was this episode that did it. Even after watching this episode a couple times already it doesn't get any less painful so of course I teared up again watching this but the first time I watched it I never could've prepared me for just how well the anime adapted this and made it a thousand times more emotional + that montage during the ending,I have never cried more in my life than the first time watching this. Back then I used to listen to this ending song a lot and after this episode it took me a good 2 weeks to be able to listen to it again without tearing up or just straight up crying again man it was just rough

What’s even more heartbreaking is that this episode aired the same day as the first original Naruto episode (Oct 3 2002 - Oct 3 2021)…. Kurama was the very first character we saw on screen and to think he died as a hero protecting the Leaf….still sob every time I see it but can’t help but feel hope when I see Naruto’s outstretched hand grab onto Boruto’s. Absolute masterpiece of an episode.

The clip from this episode that Crunchyroll uploaded to their YouTube channel hit high up on YouTubes trending page when the episode released. It’s safe to say that this will be jacks highest viewed YouTube video. Also i read that there was a mistranslation when kurama warned Naruto about the power. Instead of saying “do this and you will die”, it’s supposed to be something like “this will result in death” A vague statement that Naruto would assume that it’s his and not just kurama. The current translation makes it seem like kurama Straight up lied
