When Boro confronted Kashin Koji about his supposedly "suspicious" behaviour, KK told him that Boruto's Karma hasn't progressed that much. Boro ended up believing his words in the end and went into the fight under the assumption that Boruto's Karma is still baby-stage. After Momoshiki manifested inside of Boruto in this fight, Boro knew Boruto's Karma shouldn't have progressed this much, he realized that Kashin Koji was lying to him and cursed him shortly before he got deleted by Borushiki.

Back when this episode aired us manga people were wondering what voice they would give Borushiki (So Boruto or Momoshiki's voice) little did we know they would mix both voices and make it so we all lost our shit lmao. Also Jack this is more for you than for videos but later on it would be good for you to watch episodes 216 through 218 back to back as you record them since they will have way more of an impact that way

I definitely think at this point that kawaki isn't the person we see in episode 1 destroying the village. I can't see him doing that at all at this point. My guess is it's something to do with him being taken over. Unless something very drastic happens like boruto and naruto betray him, I can't see him attacking the village
