2021-09-08 05:09:34 +0000 UTCback when this episode first aired people theorized that deepa was related to shinki. they backed up the theory with the points that deepa spares him after seemingly staring him down and looking deep in thought and also because their abilities although utilized differently are pretty similar. it's more than a far stretch to think that shinki could be deepa's son or something imo though.

2021-09-07 18:15:06 +0000 UTCYea, Deepa's pause at the end of the fight and his odd departure without the puppet was surprisingly never explained. My theory is that he might've reached his fighting limit since we see his hand kind of smoking. Also, I think at this point we can assume that Victor and Deepa are plotting something independent of Kara's goals (which are still a mystery).

2021-09-07 16:06:43 +0000 UTCOne thing I really, really like about this arc is how it wraps back around to other arcs and shows how Kara’s influence or connections has potentially been around in the series all this time. From possibly Katasuke, to the doctor from the stone, we know they have some connection to the Otsusuki plus other things in later episodes. It’s really dope stuff!
