2021-09-03 00:51:13 +0000 UTCFrom memory, the reason they can't just let them get into the Land of Haze is because politically they aren't allowed to cross borders for missions without permission. The Land of Silence is a land without authority and they were sent there on a mission but as soon as they pass into other lands they would need express permission from that land and obviously they wouldn't be able to get permission to steal the thing that land wants lol.

2021-09-02 23:49:01 +0000 UTCA very fun aspect of this arc is how Boruto and Sarada get to see the realities of the world outside of the Leaf or a Great Nation. They’ve arguably been spoiled in comparison to the people living outside of the main shinobi nations. It showed that the peace that the 5 nations tried to attain really didn’t reach all parts of the world. Mugino, the brothers and this mission in general is really opening his eyes.

2021-09-02 18:07:35 +0000 UTCreally really enjoying this arc's commentary on the comfortability of the 5 great nations and the continued suffering of some minor lands (such as the land of valleys, the land of silence, and the land of haze). yes boruto is a smart kid but he clearly forgets how good his life is living in the Leaf and having his dad (a literal god amongst shinobi) as hokage. i like how mugino and now hiruga are opening his eyes a bit more.

2021-09-02 17:56:37 +0000 UTCThis has always been an impactfull episode on an emotional level, especially filling us in a bit more about the four brothers. The one thing that has always bothered me is the inconsistency in terms of Mitsukis arms; going from "both arms are stuck" to "only one arm is stuck" to "both arms are stuck again." A minor issue, but it just always bothered me. XD Anyway! The next episode... It'll require some mental preperation, let's leave it at that.
