2021-08-21 20:08:33 +0000 UTCNaruto's arm was created using Hashirama cells (At least in the begingin I'm not so sure now) but iirc because it's sort of unstable it's hard to make it work properly/for everyone. This why Victor mentioned that his kind of prosthetic is not easy to come by.

But it was also kinda hinted during Parent Child Day Arc, where he referred to it as a reminder that he was saved by his friend.

2021-08-21 16:56:36 +0000 UTCjack this arc (157-175) is actually anime canon but is probably the best anime canon arc as it really adds useful info that the manga lacked and needed at this point in time (and this will make more sense later). The arc acts as an intro to kara which is something the manga did not do well and sets up a lot of plot points for the later manga canon arcs. It also solves unanswered questions that the manga skipped over.
