Im pretty sure while talking to Nagato and Konan he said something like ''Ye ye i will become Hokage, end cycle of hatred, change Hidden Rain'' and other stuff like that. Konan even said like ''Hiden Rain will support u in the future''. Like she really betted on him and wanted to support him and now he forgot about all that beacouse they are both dead? Thats kinda messed up...
