2021-07-25 22:06:35 +0000 UTCI really enjoy the prison stuff in the arc, I think Boruto has done well with bringing the ninja aspect of the series back from OG Naruto while also still retaining the major power ups from Shippuden but not overusing it.

2021-07-25 18:51:46 +0000 UTCyeah blood prison is weird. it's canon because it's mentioned in kakashi hiden, but the timeline of the movie doesn't make sense. the raikage still has both arms so he hadn't lost it to sasuke yet at the 5 kage summit. which means the war hasn't begun yet but somehow naruto knows killer b? also the village being intact implies that pain didn't destroy it yet, so naruto shouldn't have sage mode.

2021-07-25 18:45:52 +0000 UTCthis first part of the arc where they're in the prison doesn't happen in the manga. the anime has anime canon (not filler) that are more like expanded stories that give more context to things in the manga. in the manga this arc happens right after they kill momoshiki. this anime only part of the arc ends at 147 then it jumps into the manga part of this arc.

2021-07-25 18:33:03 +0000 UTCYeah Jack this is a manga or a manga extension arc, we are almost where it's all manga related eps 👀 also from reading the novels, I know that Blood Prison Movie is suprisingly canon but also mixed with exaggerated filler elements, 'Mixed Filler/Canon' if you will other than The Last and Boruto the Movie (Chunin Exams Arc) which are both Canon as well
