Agree, that was a really weird episode. Hard to justify why Konohamaru just left Boruto there when they didn't even show him thinking about Boruto at all. It's like he forgot Boruto even existed for that period of time until Boruto regained his memories and showed up in his backyard. Even if we, the viewers, conjure up some reason as to why he just left Boruto without so much of an afterthought, the way it was presented in this episode was done so poorly.
