Erase Mitsuki's Memories?! | Boruto UNCUT TIMER REACTION Episode 105

Comments

Your interpretation of what happened when Mitsuki reached out his hand towards the screen was hilarious, it was exactly what I imagined as well.

If mitsuki’s cat is the best filler episode, then the Mirai arc might be the best filler arc. Hilarious all around

Orochimaru was really watching Mitskivision

Really nice episode, i love Orochimaru in Boruto he's amazing! Also, the next arc is not loved that much because it's so out of the story ahahha .... But it's so funny i can't wait for you to watch it, it's gonna be fun times for a few light episodes ;)

Orochimaru's most cruel and twisted plan by far.

First of: Thank you! :D I enjoyed hearing your thoughts and interpretations on this a lot. It's weird to say that a recap episode is legitimately one of my favourite episodes of the show, and yet it does feel like that is true for this one. There are some really powerful lines in it that stuck with me and it's setting up things that will happen and things that might happen with a mixture of stealth and obviousness and I love it for that. And all three characters reveal something important in this. The way Log talks about the situation and his (lack of) understanding regarding feeling alone is such a good example of why he is different to our Mitsuki. Orochimaru talking about how loss can push you into the darkness with the meaningful camera pan is also quite telling. Whether those words were meant regarding Orochimarus own loss back from childhood days or based on what was observed from Tsunade for example I don't know. Perhaps both of those things. In any case it's such a nice, small thing. It's generic enough that you'll understand it even if you've only watched Boruto and it's specific enough that you'll be able to attach it to previous events if you have seen Naruto and Shippuden. :D And of course, there's the whole aspect of Mitsuki not being better by the end and simply pretending to be, so he can go on and keep his memories and his will that have become so important to him. Truly quite different from the Mitsuki back from episode 6, who didn't care one way or an other whether he'd live or die. That said, the fact that he has to take a moment to compose himself to put his mask with the smile back into place before responding to Boruto is quite sad. He has worn this mask for as long as we've known him, even if his smiles are now genuine more often and even though he doesn't wear it all the time anymore, he still keeps it up. Has to, probably. If the threat of Orochimaru having to erase his memories after all one day if his condition persists is something that he is aware of.

Some of the OSTs in this episode are yet to be reused, which I am still manifesting in a new Mitsuki focused episode to be reused 🥲
