Remember all the homunculi were created by the father so all pride meant was that he was the first to created by the father as for why they look alike... who knows ðŸ˜

Also, young Hohenheim was voiced by Alphonse's original voice actor from the 2003 anime who could no longer play him after he hit puberty haha
