I really liked the resolution to this arc. We got to see something we haven't seen a whole lot of in the Naruto franchise; summoned beasts, creatures, etc having their own agency and having a say in their master's fate. I hope we get to see more of Nue as the show goes on.

I didn't watch the whole show so I guess I don't know what happens later on, but as far as I got into it, this was pretty much the only arc where they interacted much, and even so it was only so far as Boruto treating her the same way he would have treated any other friend/classmate in that position. He has far more interactions with Sarada later on so that ship makes way more sense to me.
