Lot of these early plot points are quickly passed because they were more deeply explored in the 2003 series the story will start to get a lot more coherrent at around 25 episode point

2020-10-01 01:42:51 +0000 UTCChidori means 1000 birds, remember? It was named that way because the sound it made sounds like birds. So it kinda makes sense when you think about. Not to mention that Chidori was kind of Sasukes signature and Sasuke in the later parts of the show was always being symbolically compared to a hawk, and it was supposed to be a hawk sound effect.

2020-09-29 21:18:40 +0000 UTCI like the contrast of the origins of alchemy between Amestris (Ed's country) and Xing (Ling & Mei's country). In Amestris, alchemy is mainly used for militaristic purposes whereas in Xing, alkahestry is primarily used in the medical field. They both have the same legend depicting a wandering sage from the desert, but there's such a stark contrast in the ways each country uses their alchemy.

Even side characters like Ross, Havoc and Falman (the guy with Barry) are memorable. I'm looking forward to all upcoming episodes. I can't remember a single episode I don't like in the whole series.
