KING BRADLEY'S HORRIBLE SECRET! | Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood UNCUT TIMER REACTION Episode 14

Comments

dude seeing Selim for the first time is a blast from the past

Snubblesnow .

Also, the reason Al tries to protect them is because he and Ed will protect ANYONE, on principal. Their value of human life is almost infinite.

Bradley's voice still chills my bones every time... also love how this show has famously zero filler.

I'm glad you remembered that Al didn't see "the truth" when him and Ed attempted human transmutation. With Martel blood getting on Al transmutation circle it unlocked those memories back! REALLY excited about your reactions for these next coming episodes!!

For me this episode marks the official start of Brotherhood. The story pacing is going to slow down a bit but the plot and everything else will kick into high gear. The next opening song is one of my all time favorites.

Bradley was't actually kidding when he said his age was getting to him. Let that sink in, he said he is almost 60 and he is THAT powerful still. Now imagine what he would be like when he was in his prime.

bradley basically does have a sharingan, it increases his reaction time

It’s after this episode that FMAB moves away from FMA 2003 so the plot gets a lot more fleshed out from here on, there definitely seemed to be parts of the first 14 episodes that they kinda rushed through expecting people to have seen the OG series before

Escanor the lion sin of pride lol Wait wrong anime

Dragonstorm35

Yessss, this is where FMAB really kicks into high gear! It's not hailed as one of, if not the greatest, Shonen anime of all time for no reason :)

There are seven sins of mankind. Each homonculus is based off one of these sins. So far you’ve met lust, gluttony, envy, greed, now wrath, and you just got a sneak peek at sloth. There’s one more left and I can’t wait till you see it’s reveal 😈

Daniel Ayala

A few plot points worth mentioning from this episode. As you mentioned, all of the sins have an ouroboros tattoo somewhere on their body. Wrath (aka King Bradley) is the only sin that can age and was created by Father for the "final part of their plan," as state by Lust this episode. Wrath mentioned that the Elric brothers and Izumi were worthy for human sacrifices. We also got introduced briefly to Sloth, who is currently "working," which was also mentioned by Lust this episode. Al had already travelled to that gateway when he tried to bring back his mother, but the mixing of Martel's blood with his blood seal somehow awakened those memories within himself. And lastly, this is more of a personal statement, but I always enjoyed Greed's character and his crew for how short they appeared. He was still a homunculus, but the fact that he defected from the rest made me respect his character. Plus his entire crew, while they did try and steal Al, cared for one another and considered each member family. Roa, Dolcetto and Martel fighting to protect Greed and the other members demonstrated that. It's a shame they went out so early.

fmab is god-tier

No one Literally no one in the history of the world Jack: "Ed clapped Greed's cheeks"

YES! Been waiting for this. Just so you know, the "Parts" on Netflix are arbitrary. The series did not have any seasonal splits, Netflix just can't have 1 season of 64 episodes.

Qrowe

Yeah same issue

Daniel Ayala

This is definitely the turning point for me in the anime so glad you enjoyed it.

For me it’s saying my browser doesn’t recognize the format... anybody else getting this?

Finally!!
