THE KETSURYUGAN?! | Sasuke Shinden REACTION - Naruto Shippuden Episode 486, 487

I actually think the power balancing in these episodes has been handles really well. We haven't really seen Naruto do much fighting, just a tiny bit at the beginning, and that was a super easy fight. As for Sasuke, remember that he is missing an arm, which even to the most skilled and powerful of shinobi is a MASSIVE handicap. At Sasuke's level of skill, even with a huge handicap like that, he still far excedes any ordinary shinobi. It's important to keep in mind though that there have been countless shinobi throughout the course of the show that have demonstrated power rivaling that of the legendary sannin, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch that he might encounter some, and with his arm missing, in my opinion it makes sense that opponents at that level would be somewhat of a challenge for him to fight. It's also important to remember that during his final battle against naruto, he also was using tailed beast chakra, which he no longer has access to, to amplify his chakra, so even if he had his arm, he wouldn't be nearly as strong as he was in that particular fight. So, taking into account his not having the tailed beasts, missing his arm, and the apparent power level of his opponents, I can understand why this fight wouldn't be just a cakewalk for him. That said, I belive it should still be much easier for him then some of his previous fights. In other words, I think that he actually has to TRY in this fight, but it should still be a pretty easy win. And if you're referring to his fight against the fujiin imposter, it was pretty clear that he really wasn't even trying against that guy, so....

my big issue with naruto shippuden is the fact that naruto and sasuke become god like people. so it seems ridiculous for anyone to be able to hold their own against them. If anyone has an explanation to why that is, or to justify it, I would love to read/hear it. It just bothers me on some levels. (I haven't read any of the manga or anything)

Yakamorry
