2020-05-07 12:25:29 +0000 UTCI love this episode so much. It would have been so easy to write it as he just has to defeat his darkness and that anger bad and happy good. But it goes deeper than that, it's telling you that the answer isn't to fight your negative feelings and reject them, but to accept that they are a part of you without letting them drive you. Not only that, but Naruto saying "I became strong because of you" drives home that negative feelings can help you as well. In a sense, he is doing with himself what he did for Gaara so long ago.
