Many thoughts on what you talked about, but show has gotta simmer. I love Simon and Nia's older character designs, and I like to see where the supporting characters from part 1 ended up. Kittan does not fit politics, while Leeron ended up like director of scientific research or something which fits like a glove. The vibes are atrocious right now, hard for the characters to have that Gurren Lagann hype under these circumstances.
