Highkey my favorite episode to circle back to. Sleeper banger. Also just love how dreary and monotone the visuals are this ep, for one of the most bright and colorful anime I've seen.

2025-11-17 21:41:51 +0000 UTCI have rarely, if at all, seen a cult episode in media period where the leader is not a money/power hungry bastard that when uncovered doesn't switch into psycho killer mode and at the end the whole cult is dismantled and our heroes go on their way leaving behind either happier people than they found or killed everyone who resulted to be evil... point is, this episode is really fascinating. What do you do when the "evil cult leader" is actually a burdened actually well intentioned leader that has, as far as he can see run out of option to protect his destuited people? What do you do when you cannot really do anything about it? Kamina's crew cannot take on 50 people with them, they simply don't have the resources, time and even knowledge to solve Rossiu's village problems in the long term
