My rec would be Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta, it's from the DRRR illustrator and it's a dozen or so episodes. It can be very absurd sometimes and it really reminded me of DRRR in that regard. You really never know what exactly is going on and who's "bad" or "good".

2025-09-03 09:47:30 +0000 UTCIf you like how Durarara follows a lot of different characters, Ishura is another great choice. Tons of unique characters with a pretty interesting setting and premise. I found it so fun to watch that I ended up reading the entire light novel series up to the most recent translation because I couldn't wait to see what came next. Edit: Forgot to mention Dead Mount Death Play, which is also by the author of Durarara.
