2025-05-18 18:20:47 +0000 UTCThe anime is gorgeous, but absolutely nothing can compare to the manga's art style. It's so unique and striking. The worst part of the anime not continuing is that the series gets more and more confident with its paneling, which would have been AMAZING to see get adapted by a competent team. That and the body horror elements as it goes on later. Ghost doesn't appear in the anime, yeah. She's only first introduced in the manga during this arc too, although she's pretty important for everything that happens next. The anime just chose to simplify things at the very end and skip her introduction to get to Cinnabar being asked to join Phos, as that makes for a bit cleaner cliffhanger for the show.
