UPDATE3 (Dec.30.2022: Stage 5 (Shading)
Nice little shading added to the scene! Did my best to give that nice effect of the blinds giving in light in those line patterns. It's a bit tricky to figure out where they should land consistently but I will try to keep it up in future pages too!

Only a few finishing touches and the page is finished soon!

UPDATE2 (Dec.29.2022): Stage 4 (BaseColor)

Had a bit extra work with the coloring, and choosing a color scheme for the interior of the WildeHopps bedroom. I was torn between a light mint or cyan color, but wanted the scene to be warmer, but didn't want to go with red as that's the living room color from the previous comic. I hope this light peach color will be good enough and give a nice complementary contrast to the violet/purple bedsheets and color tone of the comic.

Merry Christmas my friends and Happy Holidays! Hope you are all having a wonderful time of this year!

I had to unexpectedly do some changes to the page which halted the progress a little bit this week as per agreement with a few fellow creators.

I do plan to finish the page before new year, so stay tuned!

Original Post: Stage 1 (Rough Sketch) and 2 (Refined)

First Page's First WIP update! Sorry for missing the weekend, holiday plannings with family gave me some unexpected extra work, as well the first page being a bit more complex with cameos from fellow content creators and friends!

I want to try out something: Instead of going over the image one more time to make a clean lineart, I want to leave it as a refined sketch stage to give it more of a natural handrawn look. Let me know what you think of that idea. We will see how it will look on the end stage, but until then, hope you enjoy these sketches!
