The anime covers part 1 of the game, there are currently 4 parts and 2 major story arcs. The story for the second arc is planned to end this year and Nasu will supposedly also be less involved after it concludes although the game will still continue. Due to Nasu's lessened involvement and the conclusion of a long story arc a lot of people are seeing this as an "end" to FGO.
