Princession Orchestra (or in full Princess Session Orchestra as was quickly seen). It has an interesting first episode - though nothing too ground-breaking... at least I feel that way right now.

2025-04-08 20:08:37 +0000 UTCIt's pretty funny that I wasn't expecting this show to be TOO similar to Symphogear, as it's aiming for a more traditional magical girl audience, but the fact they carried on the tradition of an episode 1 concert attack is pretty hilarious. It's got to be on purpose to mess with Symphogear fans and trigger our PTSD, lol. I don't think there's any world in which this reaches the level of quality Symphogear has for me, but I'm excited nonetheless. I think my genuine enjoyment of this show will heavily depend on the outcome of her friend's attack. If there is a permanent effect from these monsters and a darker outcome then this might actually turn out pretty solid. It's obviously not going to be as dark as Symphogear as all the marketing is FAR more traditional magical girl, but if they can just get a little danger in the enemies this could be fun.
