Critters Studies - Part1 - Meet the critters

A long while ago I worked on some study sketches for zootopia and did a poll about what creatures you guys would like to see next. At that time "Cute Critters" won the poll.

I however got so wrapped up in all kind of real life things, works, etc, that I fell back on delivering these side projects. I hope you guys can forgive the long wait, I will be giving these cuties the attention they deserve! The individual poses will soon follow!

While there is a semi-official red-panda design in the game Zootopia:Crime Files, however, what I like about doing these study series, is that I try to get into the mindset of the animators that originally worked the film. I try to design these characters from the ground up based on the rules that the original design team seemingly followed when designing the main cast.

Same goes for the designs of the skunk and raccoon which both species had appearances in official disney comics, and might look a bit different here compared to them. I tried to give them as much detail and visual attractiveness as possible. Hope you like them!
