sadaharu (grandpa) married into the family, while sakiko is part of the bloodline (through her grandmother and mother). in terms of these like, old-style noble houses, that makes her the rightful heir. and that means that she has more power in the family than he does if she starts throwing her weight around. this is how she was able to persuade the president of the agency (which is a togawa-owned company) looking for her grandfather's permission: she might be a minor, but she is the more "valid" authority in the family. also, jp high school is not compulsory and (like uika/nyamu/umiri) you can hold down a job and rent an apartment at that age (although yes, parental permission factors in if you have a legal guardian, again she has realized she can basically pull rank on her own grandpa). so in those ways, despite being a minor, sakiko might be seen as more of an adult/authority figure than she would be in other countries. anyway i really love her. i love that her final stance is actually i am going to develop a god complex and start pulling out any dirty trick i can to protect the band and people i love. go girl go
